Corgi Model Club 472 - Land Rover Public Address Vehicle
The Corgi Model Club represents a carefully curated cross-section of some of the greatest die-cast models ever to come originally out of Corgi's famous Swansea factory.
Corgi 472 was launched into the range in 1964, topically in the same month when Harold Wilson narrowly won a general election, becoming the first Labour Prime Minister for 13 years. The model only remained in the range for two years, ensuring its rarity today. The casting was based on Corgi 438 but given a new plastic moulding at the rear, complete with loudspeakers and a couple of rather dubious looking electioneering figures!
